The Somerset Carnivals are widely regarded as the largest illuminated processions in the UK and Europe.
The Glastonbury Carnival parade comprises of around 50 carnival carts which together create an amazing spectacle of light, music and dancing as the parade winds its way up the High Street in Glastonbury past the cafes, restaurants and pubs who all remain open throughout the procession.
Arrive early as this free parade attracts many visitors to the town.
