Pilgrimage in Glastonbury

Every September there is an organised pilgrimage held at Glastonbury Abbey.

This years Pilgrimage of Mary, Woman of Hope starts at 11am, with various processions throughout the day to and from Glastonbury Abbey.

Every year since the early 1950’s the Clifton Diocesan Glastonbury Pilgrimage has been held in Glastonbury, when the then Bishop of Clifton requested the Knights of St Columba to organise and run a diocesan pilgrimage.

Monthly Market, Last Saturday

Glastonbury’s Last Saturday of the Month Markets have blossomed into a lively, multi-location celebration across the town, featuring indoor and outdoor stalls, delicious food vendors and sometimes live music and an ice-cream van!
